Founded in November 2023 by Zaira Meneses, Unidos Orchestra is dedicated to elevating the classical guitar repertoire and presenting new arrangements that blend orchestral music with the vibrant sounds of Latin American traditional music. Our mission extends beyond performance, aiming to foster a deeper appreciation for Latin American classical music within the vibrant cultural landscape of Boston, Massachusetts. Unidos Orchestra also seeks to support the creation of new works for classical guitar and orchestra, as well as to inspire collaboration among musicians from diverse backgrounds. Through our performances, educational initiatives, and community outreach, we strive to celebrate and expand the rich musical heritage of Latin America.
