MASTERWORKS AfterHours

  • Thayer's Center for the Arts 745 Washington Street Braintree, MA, 02184 United States (map)

Atlantic Symphony Orchestra

presents works from two of the most important and beloved composers of classical music — Beethoven and Bach.

ASO is excited to welcome members of the Braintree High School Orchestra and Thayer Chamber Orchestra to open this concert with a special piece, side-by-side with some of ASO’s musicians.

As part of ASO’s three-year Beethoven 1-9 Project, Maestro Jin Kim will speak from the stage on the ways in which Beethoven’s First Symphony set the tone for his future masterworks.

Afterwards, stay to mingle and chat with Jin and our musicians at the complimentary after party. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, learn about new plans we have for this summer and next season, and tell us what you think.

SPECIAL TICKET OFFER FOR STUDENTS:

$5 Tickets available for Braintree and Thayer students, as well as music students from throughout the South Shore, at the door with ID.  Cash and Venmo only for these specially discounted $5 tickets.
