Ameliorations: a Trumpet Chamber Recital

  • Marshall Room, College of Fine Arts, Boston University 855 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA, 02215 United States (map)

As part of completing a DMA, my friend and colleague, Dan Casso—a talented, lively, and hilarious trumpeter from Amarillo, Texas—has coordinated a chamber music recital that features himself. With him, I will be performing Samuel Barber’s “Capricorn Concerto” alongside Matthew Lee (flute) and Richard Rivale (piano).

Other projected works are as follows:

Gillie — Trio for Brass

Bolling — Toot Suite, Mvt. III "Rag Polka"

Deemer — Thalia Fields: Ally

Stephenson — Trio Sonata

It is free and open to the public.
