In this season's Masterworks Classical, you will hear "jubilant" and "powerful" compositions from two of classical music's favorite composers - Mozart and Haydn.
This concert celebrates the composers embraced by our Founding Families, as part of our recognition of Revolution250. It is very possible - even likely - that at least Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson would have heard these pieces during their travels in Europe. We know, after all, that both men were in communication with Mozart and others.
Hadyn's "Military" symphony also serves as the perfect prologue to April's concert at Thayer: POPS - A Salute to Veterans.
This exciting Masterworks Classical concert is sure to lift your spirit.
